• Notes

  Georgiana's first husband, Joseph Wilmshurst, together with her fathe George, were horribly murdered by aborigines on 5 December 1855, nea Maryborough in what is now Queensland. By mid-1856 Georgiana had ret urned south to Morpeth, near Maitland, NSW, where she later married Wi lliam Cotterill.
