• Notes

  Edward was first a barrister of the Middle Temple, but afterwards ente ed into holy orders, became rector of West Ogwell and Fellow of Exete College, Oxford. He was an author of considerable note in his day. S ee also Athenae Oxonienses. He died unmarried.
