• Notes

  Henry Grimshaw arrived in New South Wales about 1882, and was a turne and joiner employed by the Railways Department. He enlisted in the F irst Australian Infantry Force, Service No 59255, in Sydney NSW on 2 5 May 1918, next of kin listed as Wife: GRIMSHAW Edith May. He serve d in the 18th Bn and returned to Australia 22 July 1919. At his death in June 1943 he was suffering from gangrene of the shin , and had had Parkinsons disease for a number of years.
